Weston grew up in the Southern Great Plains of West Texas. From an early age he loved the outdoors. He hunted and camped the same creek beds the indigenous peoples roamed hundreds of years before his ancestors arrived. As he matured, he became a skilled rifleman and trapper. He found fascination with primitive technologies in his late teens and began practicing the art and disciplines of Bushcraft and Self-Reliance in his early 20’s.
While mainly being a self taught Bushcrafter, He knew there was no substitute for real world training. He sought out the guidance of Omega Survival School. He rose quickly, being the first student to receive a Master Patch for completing all three phases of training and was later invited to become an apprentice instructor at the school.
Today, Weston is an avid explorer, blacksmith and homesteader.
